Important Notice: 2 Avenue Subway Modification
Possible Saturday Construction Work for Slurry Wall Operations
(Southeast corner of 94th Street at Second Avenue)
On April 14th, 2012
In support of the Second Avenue Subway (SAS) project, MTA contractors are currently in the process of excavating a trench for a slurry wall panel installation. There is a possibility that the excavation, placement of the steel rebar cages, and concreting may not finish by the close of business on Friday. The excavated trench cannot be left open during the weekend period and as a result MTA contractors may need to continue the work this Saturday, April 14, 2012.
